The World Series Of Backgammon Will Launch Its Third Season

The World Series Of Backgammon will launch its third season of events from the Palm Beach Casino in Cannes while also unveiling a new branded online platform at WorldSeriesOfBackgammon.com.

The six-day Cannes tournament is expected to attract competitors from around the world.

The English capital will then host the grand finale from the Loose Cannon Poker Club with players competing for up to €320,000.

Also players can also win seats online exclusively at WorldSeriesOfBackgammon.com while watching live coverage of key matches. The World Series Of Backgammon brand is licensed exclusively to On A Roll Limited.

The Managing Director, Andy Bell said: “We’ve come a long way to be where we are at the start of this exciting tour, the mix of online and live events alongside the television deals we have in place with the likes of Eurosport and ESPN International make this a tantalising combination.”

Missouri Casino Gambling Holding Steady Despite Economy

In Missouri, the casino industry is surviving the economy quite well.

Casino revenue in June totaled $135.7 million. The month also marked the end of the fiscal year for casinos.

Revenue for the fiscal year was up 4%. Also state voters approved repealing the states loss-limits. Lumiere Place, the newest casino destination in St. Louis, was open for the full fiscal year of 2009.

The state has found a way through the expansion and the loss-limit repeal to stay on par with past years even in the face of a recession.

The recession caused the numbers to slip in 2008, but they rebounded in 2009. This year casinos in the Kansas City area have posted three of their top ten revenue months of all-time.

Other states have seen their revenue figures decline by double-digits for the past several months.

NetPlay TV New Shares

The British gaming firm is trying hardly to raise around 13 million pounds for the next growth and signing in the same time a 5-year agreement with Playtech.

The NetPlay TV firm said that it has placed more than 58 million shares with the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. These are due to be priced at 22 pence each hoping to raise the earnings of around 13 million pounds.

These shared will also be on the same line with investment company Directforce Trading Limited representing around 30 % of the NetPlay TV’s capital. The NetPlay TV firm has received several commitments in favour of the move from shareholders. This will represent around 43.5 % of its capital.

Besides that, NetPlay TV has also strong connections with Playtech Limited. The agreement will make NetPlay TV to have several games for the next 5 years, games as roulette, bingo, blackjack, etc.

The Chief Executive Officer for NetPlay TV, Martin Higginson affirmed that “This agreement will take NetPlay TV to new heights” while the investment will enable them to take the lad over the development of their gaming solutions.

European iGaming Event Will Take Place Soon

AGCC New Online Gambling Licensing Framework

The AGCC is one of the jurisdictions that leads the online gambling . It has recently succeeded to release a new online gambling licensing framework. But this will not be adopting right now.

The Chief Executive of Alderney Gambling Control Commission, Andre Wilsenach, said that they have a new regulatory mechanism. This shouldn’t be done because of the rapid changes that took place in both the online gambling industries.

These changes are reffering to new regulations which are emerging in Europe in the context of free flow of services in online gambling in Europe.

They thought something should be done and they have decided to legalize the online gambling in USA. Even the media companies have entered the online gambling industry.

In the same time the network gaming services has grown a lot. Wilsenach affirmed that all of this calls for a new approach to make a deal with the technical requirements and business models in evidence. He also said that AGCC was also good to strengthen its services regulatory mechanism that come from outside.

Now, AGCC will be differentiating between the B2C and B2B applicants. The first consist on good relation with players. while the second would make a deal with other businesses. To lead a gaming jurisdiction, the AGCC needs to have some technical resources.

Singapore Has Planned To Open A Casino This Year

Singapore has planned to open a casino at the end of this year but the committee chairman Sheldon Adelson said the planned opening will be delayed several months because of lack of labor and material things that can not be fully controlled and which led to this delay the opening of the casino .
Adelson commission president said he expected the casino to open in January or February next year.
Acetate said that the first casino to open in Singapore reached at a construction with 8 billion dolari. The project established and are in the hotel and of course its games.

A competition which could be a casino that could open on Sentosa Resort in early 2010 which has an Oceanarium project with over 70,000 fish and a large park.

Las Vegas Sand has been agreed by more than half of this plan given the fact that this casino would attract more visitors. If the plan will be approved in full when it starts operations in construction before the end of this year.

World Series Of Poker Main Event

The WSOP attracts more than 2,800 poker players at the Rio casino to close the registration to Day 1D of the World Series Of Poker Main Event.

Vanessa Rousso is a poker player who has registered in Day 1D of the World Series of Poker Main Event.

The Commissioner Jeffrey Pollack of World Series Of Poker has seen some players who have been given away in an open meeting and then he thought to apologize to them.

Pollack said them that they are sorry and he’s sorry for what happened. He did this to asure that the next year players will still come at the Main Event. Only logistical concerns could make players to feel better and to come this year at the WSOP.

Even now, the World Series Of Poker has a lot to do. After the closure of the Day 1D , only 1,816 poker players have survived. This could mean that on the Day 2B only 2,922 players will remain.

This amazing poker tournament has thought to pay out around 648 places and to give to the 1st-placed poker player a prize of arounc 8,550,000 dollars. The last poker game winner will win around 21,400 dollars.

Some of the poker players who were eliminated on Day 1D were Grant Hinkle, Ivan Demidov, Jeff Madsen, John Salley, Phil Galfond, Yuvahl Bronshtein, Torrie Wilson and Dario Minieri.

The Largest Gains At The World Series Of Poker

The World Series of Poker is the biggest tour that passes 1 billion dollars value gains.

The World Series of Poker this year has celebrated 40 years of competitive poker. The value of prizes awarded for all competitions during the past 1 billion dollars.

Official tournament in 2009 will be released Tuesday, July 7.

President of World Series of Poker commissioner Jeffrey Pollack said he is very excited as WSOP reached its 40 edition and that nearly two thirds of this amount was awarded in just the past four years.

WSOP prize pool will exceed the fourth year for 155 million U.S. dollars compared with a total of 354 million dollars prize awarded to receive the WSOP in 36 years.

In the Kentucky Derby were given a total gain of about 16.7 million U.S. dollars in 2001, an award less than that given in 2007 and 2008 WSOP Main Event about 17.5 million dollars..

Television For NetPlay?

NetPlay TV to deliver the first interactive gambling offering for UK terrestrial television.

NetPlay TV has not commented on speculation surrounding the launch of its theoretical SuperCasino programme but the firm has an existing distribution relationship with UK terrestrial broadcaster Channel Five to provide its EuroTeleMillions Daily SuperDraw service.

Also NetPlay TV released its preliminary financial results for the previous twelve months showing revenues more than doubled to £19.8 million. Its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation hit £2.4 million for the year, compared with a loss of £1.7 million for the preceding financial year.
