Much Of California’s Population Opposed Legalization Online Poker

This week the online poker from California has received a hit when the California Senate leader has renounced to the idea of passing a bill of the legislative session. This means in ther same time that people who were not agreeing with this idea ar4e thinking that there is a movement that continues to grow up against any action this year.

It was told that this big effort was led by the Morongo Band of Mission Indians, those who operate the greatest casinos in California, and many card clubs. A five-page draft bill has been circulating reffering to the fact that it would create an online poker website so that they were be able to offer to online customers within California’s borders.

President Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians named Mark Macarro sent a letter to leaders of other tribes in which specified that Pechanga has a reason to oppose online poker is concerned about the legal and political consequences that may occur.

“Macarro attached, also the results of a survey commissioned his tribe through EMC research. According to a survey done by the tribe or EMC, the company’s research result that 61 percent opposed the legalization of online poker in California.
